ABOUT ME
I am a licensed Psychologist (Registration no. 527) with a specialization in the field of Clinical Psychology. I received my first degree in psychology from Leeds Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom and my master’s degree in clinical psychology from the University of Nicosia in Cyprus.
During my clinical practicum I have worked as a supervised clinical psychologist with children, adolescents and adults. My clinical practicum took place at the Center of Therapy, Training and Research (KESY) where I had provided psychotherapy services and psychometric assessments, at The Cyprus Association of Cancer Patients and Friends (PASYKAF) where I had provided psychological support to cancer patients and their families, at the Day Care Center for Adults with Mental Retardation (AMEA) and Agia Aikaterini Rehabilitation Center where I had provided psychotherapy services and experiential workshops. My clinical practicum was completed at the 1st Department of Psychiatry Eginition Hospital in Athens, where I had provided psychotherapy services and psychodiagnostics to individuals with severe psychopathologies.
During and after the completion of my studies I have attended several seminars and workshops. My interest in the needs and empowerment of people with special needs has led me to active contact with them by organizing and participating in associated support groups. I have also worked as a learning support assistant of a child with autism at
at Silverline Private School. In collaboration with Pancyprian Antileukemia Association "ZOE", I provided psychological support to patients and their families, at the General Hospital of Limassol.
Currently, I have my private office in Limassol where I provide counseling and psychotherapy services to children, teenagers and adults. I also provide psychotherapy services at Logodromio Speech Therapy Center in Limassol. In collaboration with Cyprus Anti- Cancer Society, I provide psychological support to patients and their families.
